so im watching the good fight and im not american and this is probably going to sound racist but its really just curiosity... virtually all media that comes out of America has a plotline where an organization gets done for not having "diversity" so I am really just interested if IRL there are "black" law firms. hypothetically I would think they would have to work a lot harder than old white guys have to work to make their firm mostly white and "get away with it" (because I would presume a black law firm would be under a lot of scrutiny from well... cunts) and how aren't they constantly being nuiscanced by mischievous diversity stuff from "that" side ?

at some point in the near(ish) future there will have to be a show that gets into the top 10 or 20 all time and im just holding onto my but for that day because without one of those shows to fill that void, the endless just ok shows are becoming less palatable to me

better off ted is better than what we do in the shadows edit: now im wondering how many slots id fill with comedies in the top 10-20 shows ever... initially I thought no comedy rises to that level but then at least 30 rock and probably parks and rec are somewhere high for me on a "like" scale. But is most liked the same as best ? I would never claim to objectively rate tv though. edit2: problem is that I can't really love a show unless it is often REALLY funny... which kind of ends up eating any comedies breakfast in how I rank them. All the shows I think are the best shows have moments as funny as any comedy. Even like... true detective season 1 was funny. Certainly all the great HBO shows were hilarious. into the middle of season 3 of a deadwood rewatch mildly amusing of the writers room to give steve the drunk and the short plains general the same last name... given how that whole mess plays out. Hostetler's end is a fucken brutality.

I just got to the moment in the penultimate episode of the newsroom where Charlie has, I am assuming, a heart attack set to some awful wailing song and then they reveal that will was talking to ghost dad in his jail cell all episode and my head involuntarily tilted backwards while I laughed out loud.

mayor of kingstown so its pretty interesting. I'd say that it rises to the realism of a show like the shield... which my decaying memory says is a bit more believable than yellowstone. Pretty compelling concept for a show. Can't think of anything exactly the same. I have heard of ex-cons that consult to first time prisoners but never a go-between for all the sides. Each episode has been better than the last so hopefully it builds into a properly legit show. Right now I would agree with the 7.8 on imdb.
