I think it would work better as a TV show.

I would kill a man to see an X-Statix tv show.

End of the first episode everybody dies.

Well, yeah.

I'd be miffed if it didn't happen. I appreciated the cast changeups. So long as Tike is in every episode, it's all good

How is Kim's Convenience? Worth getting in to?

I definitely think it's worth a watch, it's a lot of fun.

I've been watching through The Strain when I've got some down time, and it's certainly... a show. It's a decent enough time waster, but it really feels like the different plots meander too long before actually intersecting, and some of these characters go too long without having anything to do.

Is that show good? I'd been eyeing it

I thought the first season was decent, didn't care much for the second one.

The Knick is on our list for 'new' show to watch after dinner.

We've checked out some shows on Peacock, and goddamn, Mr. Mercedes is a banger.

Apparently It got snapped up not too long ago after something called 'Audience' folded.

Anybody else check it out? Brendan Gleeson kills it, and while the second season was definitely weaker than the first one, it's still pretty decent.

Apparently CW is rebooting Legends of the Hidden Temple as a game show for adults. That seems like a weird direction to take it.

My brother sent me the casting call website for it, but doesn't actually want to do it. That's how I found out.

There is this South Korean show The Squid Game just on Netflix which asks the very important question "what if The Genius was also Battle Royale ?" and goes from there.
Only one episode in and it's pretty wild.

We put that on yesterday and ended up binging the whole thing (and we tend to pace how many eps of something we watch in one go).

I'm a little conflicted about how it ended, and some of the side plots were a little eh, but otherwise I thought it was really great.

Midnight Mass should be called Monologue Mass but Mike Flanagans Netflix horror series have always been like that so it's not unexpected. I'm on the last episode and I hope it gets crazy but if not it'd still be a nice atmospheric series for the season.

We're on episode 4 and holy poo poo, that monologue about the birds went on forever. Ugh. I don't remember Hill House being that bad, but maybe I blocked it out.

Excessive monologues aside, a lot of the performances are overall good, and now I'm just waiting to see if my theory for how it plays out will hold up.

E: Holy poo poo, can these two have a conversation, or are they just gonna monologue past each other?

I gave the first episode of Yellowjackets a watch, and holy poo poo the costume designer did a great job in the flashback scenes, the wilderness getups are creepy as Hell.

Plus the cast is pretty darn good.

To be honest despite what nostalgia tells us, Dexter was never great TV anyway. Yes it was fun and it was great to see Michael Hall as Dexter after him playing David Fisher for so long.

I started watching Dexter for the first time over the weekend, and all I really know about it was 'last few seasons were really bad' 'salad gif' and 'treadmill fall', and my basic feeling so far is 'what a goofy show'. It's pretty fun, but I feel like Doakes won't last long because he's clearly the best character.

I'm all in for seeing how stupid it ends up getting. As it stands, it was certainly a choice for the young adult flashbacks of Dexter just being MCH in an awful early Justin Beiber wig. I can't get over that wig.

I’m four eps into it so far and I don’t love it but it’s definitely got its own vibe and I appreciate that a lot

I started the first few episodes a while back and didn't love it; thought it was kind of funny but not great.

Recently picked it up again and finished the rest of season 1 and started on 2, and I like it a lot more.

Goddamn that Chucky Finale was great

I'm kind of surprised I liked Chucky as much as I did; though some of the flashbacks/let's catch you up an info dump of all the Child's Play films were kinda eh.
