In helldump you would post quotes of the helldumpee from other subforums, and usually the sin was that they were being weird or obsessive. This irony was lost on a lot of people.

On twitter the sins are perceived -isms and -phobias, usually alleged by people who have some -isms and -phobias themselves. The irony is lost on a lot of people.

No one ever cared if helldump just quoted their posts, people really cared when helldump used the info contained within (and posts on other forums if they used the same user name) to internet detective their poo poo and really find stuff out. Effectively doxxing.

The Discord video chat broadcasting limit used to be just 10 people but since Zoom and Teams et all took off during the pandemic they've raised the limit to 50 to compete, which should be more than enough.

IIRC the server doesn't need to be boosted for higher quality streaming, whoever is streaming just needs to pay :10bux:

/month for Nitro, or the server can be boosted to different levels, each level offering higher quality than the last.

no Frank Grillo or rich people, but the hero is a low-level gang boss and drug kingpin who ends up smoking a bunch of the mercenaries to Save The Neighborhood

Yeah the whole thing in The First Purge with 99% of the population hearing that there are no laws for one night and deciding "ok, let's do drugs and party all night" is the most realistic depiction of human behavior in a series that is otherwise heightened and allegorical.

It's funny how the series went from the original movie basically using it's "15 minutes into the future" setting to say HEY you think this movie is fiction but the poor and the homeless aren't protected by laws the same way you are, for them EVERY night is purge night, and your atomized well to do suburban neighbors aren't going to care about you if you become poor and homeless too to going no actually the government is using militarized forces to exterminate the poor and homeless and then the government works with white supremacist militias to do their dirty work for deniability reasons and finally TFP just has NotTrump and NotPaulRyan straight up sending Charlottesville marchers to Dylan Roof black churches. This is the rare horror series that's never taken it's eye off the ball and as such never dips far in quality, it's mostly gone from strength to strength even if they can't all have Frank Grillo.
