It's a great game but don't go into it expecting a focused horror experience like 7 was. It's very much a rollercoaster/theme park type horror expierence. A little bit of everything for everybody. I like the improvements that were made but 7 is still overall better in my mind.

This arc really highlights one of this series' issues: it's written like a big crossover event/origin story for a whole mess of individual superhero character series with interesting hooks that will never actually exist.

I mean let's be honest, The Ribbiting Adventures of Froppy alone would probably make bank just in Japan.

Throwing off his cloak is supposed to show how he's been working out. He was a twig at the Sports Festival and All Might told him he should train his body more instead of relying solely on Dark Shadow.

The spinoff series is way better about this

The author literally wanted to make a whole series about a superhero origin story.

Which, uh, kinda drags after a while. Even the MCU eventually moved on to other stories with the characters they spent years establishing.
