i bought these resistance bands (there are a million different equivalents on amazon) and they're thick enough that I feel confident they aren't going to break anytime soon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07K1823XB

for biking, running, and hiking stretch out both before you start and after you’re done.

warmups are a good idea but do something more interesting and effective than static stretching. unless you really like static stretching, in which case go HAM with it and find some yoga videos or something

apparently some moving around and cardio in the morning is enough to basically be dead for the rest of the day

i've been doing stuff with resistance bands 4-6 time a week and it's worked better than any weightlifting plan I've done before in growing my upper body

now i look like a small guy who doesn't lift, which is a big improvement over looking like I have some kind of degenerative illness

saw my lowest weight in years on the scale yesterday

because I've been sick for like a week. I feel my muscles falling off and I'm sure my cardio will be even worse coming back but at least I should be better enough to exercise some tomorrow.

While studies of people who tried to lose weight and succeeded long term sometimes show a low percentage succeeding, you have to take the methodology into account. Of the people who say "yeah I'm gonna try to lose weight" the percentage that will maintain a long-term change in lifestyle to try change their body composition is pretty small. There is a gulf between wanting to do something and actually walking the walk and it's not surprising that most people don't care to cross it.

I’ve seen enough videos of people getting slapped in the nuts with bands to try that.

i've been using this style of band several times a week for a couple of years and haven't ever wrecked my nuts with them: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07K1823XB/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
