I liked McDonalds' Chik-A-Fil rip off sandwich from a few years back so I will give this a shot. I do not think their current buttermilk sandwich is bad as long as you order it from a place that doesn't burn it or sells enough of them that they haven't been frozen for eight months, and I think they have one of the best grilled but at this point, but their old southern sandwich seemed harder to mess up so hopefully the same will be true for the new one.

Don't get me wrong, I often have a value sized bag of chicken patties in my freezer. Throw some on a tray with fries or tots, and it's 75% of the way to being a (attend from home) school lunch tray for WITCHCRAFT jr. I put hot sauce and pickles on mine. It's on a bun, it contains chicken meat and breading, but it is not a chicken sandwich. It is a chicken patty.

Voted 1 because of the misleading and incorrect title- how can they be “entering” the game? They’ve had chicken sandwiches for years. There’s literally been dozens of them. By no metric does the chronology square with this being McDonald’s “entrance” into the chicken sandwich arena. Make sure you chew that sandwich, op. Wouldn’t want you to choke.
