A Superman videogame that's actually good. It's open world and you can change from Superman to Clark Kent at any time. Clark lets you talk to people like a normal human, he can get leads from the Daily Planet, and use his press credentials to investigate things. Superman is Superman.

Missions might be as simple as "Rescue this cat from a tree" or as crazy as "Stop the giant robot that's attacking the museum." You can theoretically complete any mission as Clark or Superman, but obviously there's benefits to each play style. You still have all the superpowers as Clark but you need to use them stealthily or else people will discover you're Superman. So a guy could shoot you with a regular gun and you're fine, but now he knows you're Superman unless you cover by saying you were wearing a bulletproof vest or something.

I have no idea how you would implement that last idea, though.

Metroidvania.

As Samus Aran, you are investigating a mysterious crashed spaceship when you discover an ancient castle, buried deep underground but unearthed by the force of impact. Many of the chambers are completely intact and filled with supernatural monsters such as skeletons, bats, and different colored skeletons.

Meanwhile, the latest descendent of the Belmont clan hears word of this and realizes that Dracula's castle has again appeared in the mortal world.

Using a mix of ancient magical weapons and futuristic sci-fi tech, you swap between Samus and the new Belmont member to venture through the castle and the alien ship that has destroyed part of it.

As a kid I thought the coolest way for Nintendo to make money would be to have a printer on the game system that prints up award certificates for you when you beat video games. That way you can prove to your friends (in 1996) that you beat Zelda without having to take a photo and wait a week to get the photos developed.

I suggest we combine ideas and have the game also print coupons for Ruffles as you complete challenges.

A pro wrestling game with a story mode set in the late 80s/early 90s. On top of having to win your matches and get the title, you also:

Join massive cocaine parties
Politic your way to the top by accusing other wrestlers of starting unions
Stab guys to death in the shower who refuse to join your wrestling territory
Get blackout drunk and then wrestle for half an hour in front of angry rednecks who think wrestling is real
Wear a lead-lined poncho to avoid getting shot when you cut a particularly good promo

And more! You can even avoid wrestling entirely and just become a low-level enforcer for the mob, but watch out! You might just get murdered in your living room.

One of those browser MMOs where you are the prime minister of a country and build planes and tanks to go to war with other players, except instead of being the prime minister of a country you're a lovely musician and you have to rope other players into joining your lovely band and hope that they don't notice you stiffing them on the royalties. Then when you've levelled up enough you can become a washed-up coked-out producer and grift newbies into signing onto your label.

Gaming loves charity events so people would speedrun it

Lets make it 3rd person sandbox collectathon with optional story mode (triple A garbage budget)

Dog locations are randomized

Would you do an urban setting? maybe since it's more focused on the dog catching part you could make it a level based arcade-style game (smaller budget)

i kind of want a rally game where you are the co-driver and the challenge as you progress to faster cars and more elite competition is that you have to read, out loud, into your headset the correct notes for your driver or they'll crash. i guess you could partner up with real players as drivers or they could be AI interpreting your speech. you have to read those crazy code-shorthand books as corners come at you faster and faster, and you basically have no time to look up and get your bearings to make sure you're timing it right, you have to rely a lot on the engine/shifting noises and the swaying of the car through corners. the hardest rallies wouldn't be the diciest surfaces like ice and gravel and mud but perfect dry asphalt because you'd have to read out notes so fast. like this guy
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=obxe4EuSaUE
the more detail you're able to squeeze in the faster your driver can go - tree on outside, levels of corner cut, surface degradation etc.

playing the rally races like this in GTA 5 online where you can see the rings to drive through and the driver can't, on voice with friends, was some of the most fun i've ever had in an online game. 4 people in voice chat yelling directions at their partners

I feel like if that game had been more realistic (like you got traits that made sense in your long evolution instead of just adding a bunch of hosed up stuff) it would have been a lot more fun. Also, ditch the cutesy cartoon stuff and go for a more mature (as in advanced, not RATED M) style. It would be a lot closer to those fake documentaries about wildlife on alien worlds.

Two very different styles here. The second one might be too morbid to play (unless your character has a jaunty music playlist or smth).
