UGA controlling that game in Tuscaloosa until around midway in the third is probably the strangest result of the season.

Maybe second, UGA having like 2 rushing yards against Miss. State might've been stranger.

Weird year and I'm glad it's over. Looking forward to everyone on offense returning + everyone in the secondary leaving = bunch of 48-42 games next year.

Urban handled 2007-2009 Florida's locker room pretty well, and that thing was a mid-90s Cowboys level of malfeasance and tomfoolery. I think he'll be fine for the Jags.

And yes, as noted, he beat Georgia's rear end in that stadium, and the one time he didn't, it made him so mad he beat Georgia's rear end even worse the next year.

Yeah I don't see Clemson's semifinal loss as being a program turning point the way "Tebow cries after getting dominated by Bama"/"Jameis falls on his rear end in the Rose Bowl" were. Clemson will be favored in the '21 opener against UGA and should be.

Georgia's DC Dan Lanning apparently turned down an offer from Sark and is coming back to Athens. Georgia's defense in '20 regressed from historically great to merely decent, but there were injuries and a distinct lack of give-a-poo poo at times. I don't think Georgia would've necessarily missed him – it's Kirby's defense – but him leaving would've likely meant Muschamp became Georgia's DC and, um

Pruitt was good in Athens. Apparently also a titanic rear end in a top hat, but if my defense has zero margin of error every game because Schottenheimer, I'd be a little cross too. An immediate upgrade over Grantham.

I still follow a bunch of UCF fanboy flacks from back in their '17 run and the general consensus was that Heupel was about to push the program into a ditch and if they could just fire him, then they'd be back to NATIONAL CHAMPIONS quality teams again. I dunno. UT's turbo-boned anyway but hiring a dude on a clear downswing that the natives had grown restless over is ehhhh.

Muschamp's best season (9 wins, NYD bowl win over Michigan, finished second in a reaaally down SEC East) should be the reasonable goal for Beamer IMO

Finished second place in a poker tournament last night to a Michigan fan who was playing like Mike DeBord was operating his betting strategy. Dude had a 50,000-chip lead over me and was folding small blinds in heads up. Though...it worked; I got frustrated because I didn't want to be there all night, got too aggressive, went down. Imagine being some poor kid playing for Kansas, just wanting to have fun, and you've got Mike DeBord's 100-year-old rear end yelling at you to run the ball up the middle harder, and again, and then punt like a winner.

Fun fact, 38 is the most points Mike DeBord's 1997 national championship winning team scored in a game.

Back in '18 UGA did the bafflingly-perpetual "intentionally drop the ball before crossing the goal line" thing against Mizzou, Mizzou recovered the fumble and took it 100 yards for a score only for the refs to wave it off and then also not give them the score on review.
