The kickout at one worked because it made Cage go "Holy gently caress, what do I have to do to keep this guy down," which led to the stairs spot, which led to his loss

I like watching Darby get thrown around and am fine with the general psychology of the match. I'm just sort of over Darby's one-note act. Adding Sting, who is doing a similar one-note, makes the whole thing sorta lame. If you're going to bring in an old man who can't wrestle anymore to mentor a guy, and he's not going to talk and the guy he's mentoring is also a brooding silent type who doesn't talk, it's just a whole bunch of boring poo poo, from a character perspective. Definitely not worthy of this level of push and focus.
