my dog died im sad posted:I've been making a different cocktail every Friday. Last week was daiquiris. Since I don't drink, I made a mocktail: 2 oz blood orange juice, 2 oz strawberry syrup, 1/4 oz lemon juice, 6-7 oz seltzer. Garnish with a strawberry. I call it a Bloody Adrian.

SleepySonata posted:This sounds better than liquor (not a big fan of drinking) It is really good. I made my own strawberry syrup too! Bring to boil 2 pounds of hulled and quartered strawberries in 3 cups of water, then let simmer for 15 minutes. Strain into another pot, then boil again and add 2 cups of sugar. Give it 5 or so minutes to let all the sugar dissolve then let cool and bottle it up.
