We can all learn from our past mistakes.

Bush 43 left the Whitehouse and his reputation wasn't looking too hot. Lowest approval ratings. Iraq was in a terrible shape and was invaded for non-existent WMDs. The economy fell out. Generally speaking looking back on his tenure nobody with a shed of honesty would say it was a good presidency, most would call it one of the worst.

For 12 years GWB has largely stayed out of the media spotlight, did some painting and now considered an 'elder statesman'. If this could be done for the guy who flubbed the Hurricane Katrina response why not do it for Trump? The fact that you aren't automatically disgusted when you hear "George W. Bush" speaks volumes.

Trump will be much more difficult. Not only has his policies have been awful but the man is socially inept and extremely abrasive. This doesn't mean we can't rehabilitate his image! You have to remember he still has a large amount of support within the American electorate who just think he is the best and would do some half-assed insurrection on his behalf in the Capitol, while there is a pandemic killing hundreds of thousands of their fellow countrymen!

I just wanna throw out some ideas:
-Keep him banned from social media to prevent his ID from flowing out
-Improve his health so he doesn't look repulsive
    -Primary someone worse than him
    -Do some talk show fluff

So what should we do to improve the collective memory of Donald Trump?

Trump bombed Syria, which makes him incredibly presidential.
He also didn't start any wars.

E: spin him as a well meaning outsider politician who wasn't up to the task. Not the outsider we need but the one that was able to win election at the time.
This is good. Sure he got nowhere with the North Korean talks but at least he met the North Korean leader.

Gave me $1200. Made """""real politicians""""" mad. Not all bad.
Yes, the GOP primaries were very funny to see a bunch of cowards who bully on the poor for their own gain get steamrolled by the ultimate bully.

Lets not rehabilitate Trump, thanks.

Trump was the personification of all of the vulgarity of American politics, and spent 4 years putting a face on it that everyone could hate. Instead of learning the deeper lesson from this experience, about just how vile and disgusting American politics is, we instead chose to double down on getting behind electing an austerity rapist who has destroyed the lives of millions.
Should we smear Biden with true and false statements so that he looks no better than Trump?

donald trump campaigned against his opponent's potentially criminal actions but then when he was in office realized that after a divisive campaign season, what america truly needed was to come together and heal. his declining to lock up hillary clinton after repeatedly saying he would was the greatest act of statesmanship by an american president since obama recognized the need to look forward, not backward at the actions of the bush administration.
