"I recommend Batman especially, for he tends to transcend the abysmal society in which he's found himself. His morality is rather rigid, also. I rather respect Batman.”

This is deeply stupid, but in 1928 the Rangers won the Stanley Cup entirely in Montreal due to the circus being in MSG. In one game their goalie (the eternal Lorne Chabot) caught a puck to his unmasked face, and was unable to continue, and since the home team (the Maroons, not Canadiens) was allowed to deny them access to an emergency goalie in the stands, 44 year old coach Lester Patrick played 2 periods and part of an OT period before the Rangers won, 2-1. If memory serves me right, every goal by the Rangers (in all 3 of their 2-1 victories) was scored by one of the "Bread line" of Bill and Bun Cook, centered by Frank Boucher.
Hockey is a pretty dumb sport is what I'm trying to get at.

Should we just assume that Panarin isn't going to play for OAR next year at this point?

If this is proven false I hope he plays and tosses his medal in the stands.

That's a really good article on it. That had a great video attached for my little hockey player to watch too. He's working on putting all the pieces together and watching skating drills is useful when we get very little ice time (and haven't seen the ice at all for most of the last year).

Fun fact- if both roster goalies go down in one game, the taxi squad goalie, not the EBUG, goes in.

This came up the other night when Elvis got hurt and they mentioned on the CBJ broadcast Cam Johnson could get dressed, but not come out to the bench unless Korpi also went down.
