And forget musk popsicles, do ones out of the beaver scent gland they use for all those artificial flavors

Beaver butt gland juice is too expensive, your artificial vanilla is either synthesized out of oil and coal tar or it comes from tonka beans.

You can get bourbon with it. Or Swedish hunting schnapps.

I always thought that depicting pizza as orange was a nice rationalization of the mottled white and red of sauce and cheese. Just plain white doesn't look right, but drawing like a lot of red peaking through is a lot of complicated detail. What's really wrong is when they depict pizza as dark yellow because conceptually cheese is yellow.

Depicting the cheese as some kind of viscous liquid that drips and oozes off the pizza seems more like a rationalization of all those ads where they use extra tricks to depict pizza as having all of its cheese stretching around the pizza as it's taken out of the box.

It's like some kind of pizza liquid.

I thought it was always mostly this. Food advertising slightly lost it's mind in depicting the perfect stretchy cheese and culture followed with it to give us the creepy cartoon pizza.

See also that meme with the lady incredulously staring at a real pizza exhibiting the cheese stretch.

I mean... yeah OK salted sweet things are a thing and I don't necessarily see why that wouldn't work but I object to calling that a crisp sandwich because if someone asks for a crisp sandwich and you give them that they'll kick your teeth in.

Mostly because it isn't Irish. It's just Red Leicester, cheddar and a sage derby. None of these are unusual, sage derby isn't particularly popular and this one probably is just green colouring and not actually any sage. From Britain is right. But not from Ireland.

I've never seen a stove like that. Wouldn't that stove pose a tipping hazard for smaller pots?

What do you call those iron things above the burner? My brain is telling me the word grill but my brain is an rear end in a top hat. Who designs a stove with a thin four prong grill-thing? My stove has a nice sturdy eight prong.

What's the word I'm looking for?

Only if you sit them off-centre. And I think that design is pretty common? Pretty sure my parents stove looks like that. I think the last place I lived that had a gas stove had one like that as well.

Those are pretty standard trivets for a gas stove and unless you're using a tiny pot they aren't generally a problem at all. Some of them are far thicker width wise than the ones in the picture but they work alright most of the time.

“From Britain” is an extremely odd phrasing. I’ve seen products say “Great Britain”, “The United Kingdom”, any of the constituent regions like Wales, NI, Scotland etc, or if you want to imply something might be from the Republic then some convoluted “the British Isles” phrasing, but “Original From Britain” has a very strange sound.
