In the last thread I made a Spam fort with small potatoes contained within and a side of asparagus and hollandaise sauce because it was from one of those cookbooks, and there's always the theme of "Put it in aspic" that was popular at the time. Totally counts as a food fad from the past. "Normal food, cooked in a bad and strange way". Everything on that list is normal but they do not belong together.
