Is the mastery based on use, cause I already have like 4 of Joker's and just unlocked Ryuji's second one despite playing the same time. Also, Joker's mastery of his guns not using ammo is whew.

Is there any real reason to keep the aoe versions of spells, since the basic versions already have a big cast and All-out attack is more common to trigger?

Items become less of a problem once you unlock cooking. Then you're just literally spilling SP items that heal for more than it says because of bond passives.

I would say it'd get incredibly tiring if they repeated the first 3 for the next 3, the change of pace benefits.
