This is my stumbling block with Persona games in general. I like the gameplay, and I like the overarching stories, but it often feels like every dialogue goes on just a little too long? I think it's a stylistic thing and why I can't stand a lot of anime-like games - there's a level of pedantry to the narrative that just turns me off. Every idea gets explained like 4 different ways. I'm having that same problem with Strikers. I like a lot of this in theory and love the aesthetic, but always find myself disengaging from the over-long dialogue sequences.

Incidentally this is also why I can't stand Brandon Sanderson's brand of fantasy.
