bear hugger is completely busted when you can control him lol. low hits do nothing because of his big belly so you just hold high block and you're essentially invincible. he still automatically does his little punch me animation but little mac can only get one punch in during that and if he fucks up and you block it you automatically go into the overhead slam counter

i had a friend with the original digimon and thought it kicked rear end and the reason i never got into the digimon cartoon and poo poo as a kid is because i thought it was lame they were so blatantly trying to chase after pokemon instead of making more cool little lcd tamagotchi things

speaking of tamagotchi and finding out things about old games i had a tv on at a hotel last year-ish and there was a tamagotchi commercial and the voiceover went very out of its way to pronounce it tama GO tchi and that was the first time i got the name pun. tamago. egg
