Anyone else here ever play ASCII Sector? It's a loose remake of Wing Commander: Privateer, done as a roguelike -- all graphics are in (simulated) textmode. It's surprisingly fun.

Ship-to-ship combat takes a while to really get the hang of. I recommend saving up for a rear turret with an AI,. then when you go into combat, you can just kind of point your butt at the enemy.
