It's not weird to like matches that can go 20 minutes with no commercial breaks. It's not tying in knots either. I don't like this discourse because it so often looks like "Were there 2 women's matches on Dynamite? If no, we riot." I think there's more to it than that. Idk. It's exhausting hearing how poor AEW's women's division is doing in every social space in active spite of match quality going up, ratings trending up, and an influx of new popular talent. It's like it's finally all coming together and the discourse stayed the exact same.

I mean regardless of match quality which I agree has gone way up it’s always going to come down to tv time. Everyone hypes up all the matches on dark but it still only gets half the eyeballs of the tv show weekly and the tournament matches even less than that.

Make the main event of next week's Dynamite the finals of the women's tournament, imho. They haven't done a women's match as the main event of the show yet (at least that I remember) and this is a perfect time to do it.

Is the only women’s match at Revolution so far the title? AEW normally does more than 1, so I’m curious what else we’ll see. Maybe Rosa / Britt if Rosa doesn’t win it all.

I guess I don't care for "It's always going to be TV time" because discourse isn't sat there with a stopwatch for any other division. I have no idea how much the TNT title scene is featured. It just seems like a forever way to demean a division that's working really hard to change its perception. 2019 was not good and 2020 stumbled really hard in a lot of very visible places. 2021 is doing pretty good though. I will say there should be an NWA Women's Title division booked separately from the AEW Women's World Championship division. They should make a Simpsons Tapped Out style game where you build your own arena and backstage area. You could have various locker rooms, training centres, bars, etc. Then you have little wrestler sprites running around and you could set them up to fight each other to earn whatever virtual currency they would use to unlock more content or upgrades. Whales could support the game through purchasing exclusive cash only items like the Stadium Stampede arena or a Big Money Matt skin.
