My god, Winston, is that infernal sun still giving my buttocks that entirely too cool smirk?!

you play it for some dude on a first (or other) date and they take any sort of umbrage to the idea of not only brilliant pop music but also getting back financially at a man who lied and cheated. Time is money after all.

This is really just an observation that mostly lovely dudes hate this song.

I’d bet “Before He Cheats” has resulted in more domestic abuse than “Hit Em Up Style” based on the country demographic.

Young king, domestic violence doesnt have a demographic, and portraying rural or country people as somehow backwards is classist.

DV is a serious issue that spans class and culture, and is ultimately rooted in misogyny. Blaming poor people is counterproductive, when the real issue is centuries if not more of patriarchy.

The wealthy tend to hide DV, which mean their victims often have less agency.

That being said Im glad Carrie Underwood keyed that guys car for hanging out with some blonde tramp even though she is also blonde I think.

I knew a guy who took personal offense to "Goodbye, Earl"

I did not invite him to my new roadside meats stand
