Both Chiefs tackles could conceivably recover from their surgeries and play at a high level for a couple years. But also the tackles combined counted $25m against the cap. I imagine Veach is going to bring in some free agents. Also their drafted tackle who opted out for Covid and was also injured has seemingly recovered and looks really good in film I've seen. I'm sure that plays a part in this decision.

One day the Chicago Bears are going to be actually good and the city is going to freak the gently caress out. But man it is depressing now and has been for decades. Every time I go there I watch the fans just flock to the bars every Sunday and just get broken again and again. To their credit they just keep coming.
