Instead from what i can tell this was built up woth some inherent "i only hurt you because i love you" preamble which made everyone skeeved out already before the cutter. When the cutter did happen it felt really gross given the context.

i thought the post match was goofy and stupid. it did look like to me that the intent was Ospreay was willing to sacrifice anything and anyone to get the championship including bea. his marblemouthing though and the timing made it look bad for sure, but i dont think its meant to come across as a dometic abuse angle. smashing the new japan cup itself probably would have been way more effective to accomplish the same point.
