Watching on the West coast now, and just caught that Reba is “injured” so Britt is lobbying to choose a replacement partner if she can’t compete, so another possible debut there too. Does Deonna work heel in Impact? I do not watch Impact.

What "name" talent is actually out there? As someone that lost interest and only followed wrestling passively for close to a decade before AEW I'm drawing a blank.

Angle & Punk are the two I can think of that aren’t locked down by WWE.

Southern bred, hell of a promo, big hitter who wrestles stiff.

I absolutely want this. I’ll honestly be unhappy if he isn’t picked up regardless. He is so unique to AEW. Nobody looks, talks or wrestles quite like him.

Both of his Dark matches felt like showcases the way Bear Country’s first two were (against Dark Order and Jurassic Express) that I have to imagine he’s at least getting a serious look. I didn’t see him in the wrestler section this week, but they don’t always put everyone they’ve brought in out there.

I know Cody pretends like he doesn’t know who’s signed to what, but Velvet basically confirmed she’s already full time on Unrestricted last week.

I get why people would guess Thea for Britt’s replacement partner, but I don’t know what she adds to Britt’s act long term, which isn’t a consideration if you bring in someone from Impact.

Something that occurs to me: neither the world champion nor his challenger for Sunday were on the show live.

We got a really good video package, but they were content to use the show time to build the women's title match, the ladder match, the Page / Hardy match, and the tag title match. The closing sequence highlighted the tag battle royal.

That's pretty ballsy for a go home show.

Saw a tweet that pointed out the main for the Full Gear go-home was Cody & Gunn Club vs The Dark Order (Silver, Reynolds & Colt).

At least with Angle, I’d buy him putting together a babyface Team Taz and then they feud over who gets Leyla Hirsch in their stable.

Thinking more about it, if they had just run mortars across the full length of the camera side of the ring, it probably would’ve looked good enough because the whole ring would’ve been obscured from the primary vantage point of both the live and home audience.

As it was, you never lost sight of Eddie and Mox.

Also, even if the explosion had been well executed, having Eddie sell it to that degree was probably misguided.
