Problem description: My colleague built a new machine for a client and at their request used EaseUS to clone the HDD from their old one to the new machine's SSD. The machine boots and everything is seemingly fine, but it won't allow the driver for the onboard video to install. It just throws an error saying the driver is corrupt or unreadable, whether I download new drivers from Intel/the mobo manufacturer or use Windows Update. Also, when I try to shut the machine down two processes flash up with no details saying they're still running and it drops it back into Windows 10 without shutting down. Attempted fixes: Installing new drivers from manufacturer/Intel, killing off processes that might be stopping it. You could try doing a repair install/refresh of W10. But cloning an old drive onto a new machine is asking for trouble (unless the machines have very similar hardware). Even if you resolve these current issues it's possible other issues crop up in the coming weeks/months.
