No way Fantasy Island is worse than Wonder Woman but I’m rooting for Music to take it all bay bee. Really a lot of movies on this year’s slate that are thoroughly not-terrible but are probably on here because nothing else released. Should give an honorary award to Tenet for getting people infected.

If you don't particularly like the movie you can say Gal did a bad job and that isn't really wrong, but for the brand of "epic cringe" type stuff razzies are going for that was way more kristen wiig. It kinda doesn't feel like either deserve it though, the movie isn't the best and the writing is really messed up, but it feels like a stretch to talk about it as notably bad bad, but if you are going to gal is more just a wooden actor playing a superhero mechanically with no heart and wiig is like, a temporary lesbian cat lady who kicks a rapist to death while evil music plays (although that whole movie is everything being weird and fragmented, not just wiig's character's personality, so it's hard to blame her)

The Razzies are self-evidently stupid (see nominating the My Pillow guy and Rudy and previous wins for Donald Trump and Dinesh D'Souza in categories that should only really be for scripted dramas), but it was pretty universally accepted that Gadot was awful.

Yeah, but generally razzies are only for a certain sort of awful. Like you have to act in a way that is bad and weird, not just a way that is non-energetic and dull. Wiig has more scenes where you'd say "why did she pick to act it that way?", where Gal is much worse but it's just more "oh, she sure is standing motionless delivering her lines with minimum emotion" that is bad, but not very strange.

The Razzies are lazy fish in a barrel poo poo that has gotten things embarrassingly wrong in the past. Lookup how they felt about The Shining Not that its a hill to die on but Kristen Wiig was exponentially better than Gal Godot who literally can not act.

Looks like they didn't have a Tyler Perry movie to do the "lololol nominate him for Best Actress" schtick again so they went back to the Adam Sandler well instead. I mean, Mike Lindell at least is a deserving pot shot.

What are the best films to win Razzies? Mommie Dearest, Showgirls, Freddy Got Fingered. Cats is something truly unique and special. Under the Cherry Moon is fine if sluggish. Howard the Duck is kinda a weird gonzo adventure worth watching. Rambo: First Blood Part II is totally fine for what it is. Ishtar was nominated but did not win but that movie is legit great and I'm glad it's gotten a revival as Elaine May is being heralded.

Cocktail is fine except for a very melodramatic twist near the end. Star Trek V: The Final Frontier brings up interesting concepts near the end and I think it was not understood at the time. Dirty Love almost reaches the magical levels found in The Room. Xanadu, Rocky IV, Mac and Me are also worth seeing.
