CANCELLED due to public health concerns. Turns out the event was too epic for it's own good, and excessive numbers of fans were turning up at KFCs and many camping out overnight like it was a ye olde Star Wars prequel movie release event. Sensing the danger and not wanting to suffer the ignominy of spawning trending hashtags like "Kovid Fried Chicken" or "Covid Chicken Party", the event was cancelled. Nice try, Corona-chan! THRONGS of disappointed anime gatcha fans/chicken connoisseurs milling about in the aftermath of the cancellation  Hapless waifus being evacuated from COVID HOTSPOT  One man sums up the tragedy.
