https://heavy.com/news/marvin-hagler-cause-of-death-controversy-tommy-hearns-blasts-covid-19-vaccine-claim/ According to Tommy Hearns, Hagler died after getting the covid vaccine. That's a shame

Dejan Bimble posted:https://heavy.com/news/marvin-hagler-cause-of-death-controversy-tommy-hearns-blasts-covid-19-vaccine-claim/ A shame that Tommy Hearns would spread a rumor that Hagler's cause of death was related to the Covid vaccine when "the Hitman" has no proof of that?

For those who might not have watched any of his fights, watch The War. The whole fight takes 10 minutes, and I've linked it from the opening bell below. I'm no close follower of the sweet science, but I've never seen anything like that first round. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9GYGThR8dKs&t=362s

That first round feels like an entire fight in three minutes.

I was legit shook when I heard, seeing Hearns vs Hagler fights was one of the first fights that got me into boxing. Dude was an absolute machine, I could always count on throwing on one of his fights and seeing an actual fight and not to guys slipping around the ring barely throwing punches so they could take home a check His fight Vs Leonard is also really great https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zH1U1jC0Lgc

RIP to a great one. The first fight I remember watching as a kid was Hagler winning the title by tearing Alan Minter's face apart. Plenty of fighters weren't the same after sharing a ring with Hagler. Antuofermo, Minter, Sibson, Mugabi ..... I'm sure there's others I've forgotten. Massive props to Marvin for walking away from the sport and not returning despite the money flashed in his direction. One of the best middleweights of all time.
