Just as a heads up, this game is coming to Android this Friday for $9.99. It has cross save with the steam version so if you want it portable it plays pretty well on phones. And of course it's the full game, no ads, ect.

About to cloud save and settle in to play on android, but since zack fixed the Explosive Armor damage bug in the last update, you can actually run barrier-focused siegemaster builds now, so here's mine:

https://berated-bert.github.io/sira...=SM&r=ml_vn__el

Do NOT take the perk that makes your guys start battle defending (doesn't trigger anything). The Mimic golem is holding the spell Guardian Force, which is used to make everyone defend at the beginning of battle in a way that actually fires everyone's triggers. There's some weird but nice behavior with Explosive Armor and Fan Dance: the first time your creatures defend, it puts the barrier up, every time after that, it explodes the barrier and puts it back up as a single action.

Other than that, Master of Golems makes everyone triple-cast everything and Protect the Glass Cannon makes that trigger defend. Everyone casts Spectral Rain on their turn to buff everyone's barriers, or Recharge if Spectral Rain is out of charges. The siegemaster perk Rest Up has an interesting synergy with Fan Dance and Triple Take- if you only have one charge left, it'll still cast three times, because it recharges between the casts. Even recharge will cast 3 times even though it only has 1 max charge. All the spells are hooked up with the 20% chance to cast on defend for bonus casts.

So yeah, everyone buffs barriers to crazy values and when their turn comes around, they blow it up. I want to get the spell Stonewall for everyone's artifact spell slots which will theoretically make everyone's defense values (and therefore barrier sizes) climb even faster.

It's supposed to be the next port. In January, he said that ios would "follow soon after", so I would expect it in the next month or so.

Let's talk about where you're going.
This is my first Siralim, so bear with me. I've finally got a character/team on-line that's able to handle instability 5 with no issues. I'm at level 142 now and just need to ask - what's the point? I'm not seeing any post-game stuff to really keep me interested. I've researched all the realms, am working through getting all specializations, trying to S-rank as many monsters as possible, etc. Other than that, is there anything I'm missing that I should be working towards?

There are two sets of superbosses (Gods and False Gods) with special rewards (including powerful creatures, one new perk for each specialization and the ability to unlock most perks for sharing between specializations), but otherwise it's all about testing teams and combos and watching numbers go up. You also have a lot of God Shop creatures and spells to earn, exotics and skins to hunt, abilities to unlock in the Reliquary.

In the end it's all about numbers going up, so once you're done you're done. It's kind of like Diablo in that sense.

OK - so when do those other mechanics open up? 50 levels? 200 levels?

Big Mad Drongo
Nov 10, 2006

I think Gods are around floor 240 and False Gods about 400ish? They each take one round of beating every Nether Boss, which earns a special project that you can complete.

It's way too long a grind imo, if you're not feeling it now you're not going to be wowed once they unlock.

No, I'm enjoying it. It's just that I was hoping for either a little more direction or maybe more frequent smaller mechanic unlocks.

Have you unlocked the Goblet of Trials? That's the main source of direction - pick one of the specializations it gives you there and try to come up with a build that can handle Instability 5 at your depth. It gives a pretty big pile of rewards every time you fill it with all specializations unlocked.

I have, but I've just been re-rolling the specializations it wants until I get my current one. I'll try it your way - gives me something to do besides walk around and press the macro button.

I'm feeling this right now. Halfway to guilds but I don't see that much to do but grind depths and run training missions to give my big hitters better attack scaling. In theory there's a few things I can do to upgrade on a few non-ideal traits but I'm already killing most packs including nether bosses in Turn 0

Hi.
Can back to this recently. It is somehow both easy and kinda difficult to hop back in and play / asses the team, etc. Still find it satisfying to kinda zone out and grind some levels and such.

Really want to play more of this game but the most enjoyable aspect, the team building, is so incredibly frustrating because the UI is loving horrible.

I'd pay full price for Siralim Ultimater: We Spent All Devtime On UI This Time Edition.

Agreed that the UI is atrocious to navigate and plan traits. Time to plug the Siralim Ultimate Party Builder again. It helps a lot.

Having so much fun with this while only having the most basic understanding of what I'm doing. Necromancer, plus everything I can find that adds minions. Just got a butterfly that whenever it gets a minion, so does everyone else, and poo poo is getting silly now. Awesome.

Interesting tidbits:

- They buffed Exotic creatures, so maybe they're more useful
- Adding weekly rotating buffs - one week is a card drop, another skin, another Nether Stone, and a generic bonus loot. Huzzah for card farming!
- Game optimizations

This game has been great for "phone game to play while winding down for Bed". Now that I have a few teams running and can handle a decent amount of RI5 realms, it's a fun grind collecting things. Looking forward to card farming on card drop week :v:

Very pleasing! I'm still early days, at realm 150 on an 80 hour save. I like going through the campaign and wish there were more slots just because I enjoy the sensation of perks unfolding gradually, but I also love that I can just use any specialisation on thiis save and just pootle around grinding out levels and materials and stuff without much thought. It's a great Deck game.

I just started this game a few days ago and I just beat the main story by auto-casting hundreds of spells a battle with Cabalist. Busted as hell but also looking forward to trying out a bunch of new strategies that will probably be much faster.

Great game so far!

It's awesome, right? I really appreciate that even a dummy like me can just think 'now let's see, I need to be good at spells' or 'now let's see, I ought to have lots of minions' and hurl together a completely broken combination in a few minutes.

Finally after years of having each successive Siralim game on my Steam wishlist, I finally pulled the trigger and got Siralim Ultimate. Had a lot of fun already, and hit my first wall on the 3rd story boss (level 9, the one that unlocks fusing). Had to go digging into my monsters until I could find a combo that would let me survive long enough. Bumping an old thread in hopes to get some newbie tips before I go diving into this old thread. I already see this:

Anything else you'd recommend in order to save myself some early game frustration? Or just go along for the ride, play and keep reading up on the codex? I do have the bad video game habit of hoarding all my resources but so far the game seems quite generous with everything so it seems like I shouldn't be afraid of crafting/upgrading/experimenting?
