Welcome to the new Low Effort thread 2.0: The Chill Zone.

We decided in the old thread that we should be allowed to say when a photo is cool, so this is now the updated thread where you can do just that.

As always, there is still the Photo A Day thread if you want more pointed critique, and there are still the more specific threads like the Landscape and Medium + Large Format threads.

This thread is for low-pressure posting of photos, and feedback is now allowed! Feel free to chat about your own or others' photos.

Handy tip for posting imgur images:

As this is a photography subforum you don't need to timg your large images, but there's little known imgur shortcuts you can use to make them a sensible size. Putting s, m, h or l before the .jpg in an imgur url will resize the image for you. For example:

I want to re-take this in a bit harsher light. The shadows from the railing was what really drew me and the sun ducked behind a cloud just before I fired off. And I somehow managed not to notice I bumped the exposure compensation dial and was about 3 stops under when taken.

A b-side from this winter. It's pretty messy but that curvy hill caught my attention as I was walking by and at least in my pea brain it kinda saves it. A little.

Or maybe I'm so desperate for hills here in Illinois any terrain feature is overvalued.

You can't really dust for vomit.

This is the relaxing photo I needed to see today. Thanks. This is lovely.

Also, f32! I assume to get the slow shutter speed. I've got to remember that that tactic is in my arsenal sometimes.

Thanks! Yeah I don't have any filters for my mirrorless so I had to use the aperture. It was already really flat that morning but I wanted to smooth it out as much as possible.
