let's dig deep here though and talk about how zero no tsukaima and other otaku works in the early 00s were influenced by the first few harry potter movies, isekai themselves, and how everyone was enamored with young hermione's huge poofy hair and this resulted in chars like louise

'magic school' itself being a hugely common LN premise behind or sometimes company to isekai, ofc

its the type of thing you can glean more from experience if youve done a lot of "read the 4koma and then watch the anime and see how they handle it", a real obvious 4koma show will have a lot of gag setup->punchline revolutions

Endorph posted:

i mean what do you want them to do, have the 4koma appear in the actual anime?

if shaft were adapting it this would just be the premise of the episode previews

“The animated adaptation of the light novels Hige wo Soru. Soshite Joshikousei wo Hirou ((Higehiro: After I got rejected, I shaved and did a high school runaway) may have a good time, but couldn't help that a conspiracy involving a high school girl running away from home and living with an office worker had nothing to tell.

In fact, since the title was chosen, the author seems to disagree and has currently published some publications about it. On Twitter, March 25th, the author Shimesaba wrote: "When I'm on Twitter, I get a little painful when readers make comments like "I want to pick up a girl from high school too!" I wish they would stop making jokes like that. Things like "I'll kill you!" or "I swear I'll kill this guy!" They are not things to joke around with."

perhaps an iffy TL of their tweets, though even before that I don't know what that person is trying to say in their own words. the author guy is saying that "I want to pick up a high school girl [like in higehiro]" is like "ahh, I want to commit a murder too~" in response to a story with killing in it

Years after it first aired in the 1990s, Neon Genesis Evangelion is still a hit. Hideaki Anno's cryptic work has gained a niche audience that has continued to grow over time, making it a very researched product that many hypotheses focus on to this day.

Completed with the film Daeth & Rebirth, The Neon Genesis Evangelion was then renewed into the new millennium with the Rebuild of Evangelion project, again under the direction of Hideaki Anno. The tetralogy ended with some worries with Evangelion 3.0 + 1.0, which was shown in Japan just a few months ago. Too many characters from the original series were filmed here. Indeed, there is no shortage of historical protagonists like Shinji, Asuka and Rei, the three Eva pilots and Misato Katsuragi.

Misato Katsuragi, a NERV soldier, greeted Shinji Ikari in their home and tried to take care of him despite the boy's fragile psyche. Tournament through his thoughts, duties and feelings, Misato was a key figure in the Neon Genesis Evangelion, for both the original series and the rebuild films.

For that she deserves the honors of the fans, and one of them is this Cosplay about Misato Katsuragi made by Nyuki. The Spanish cosplayer introduces us to a charming woman who you can see in the picture below.

worth noting that past shows' sales figures being compared in all the figures i see are average per volume, not total. uma musume s2 is just on volume 1 preorders right now, so the numbers aren't quite official even if its probably going to be insane. still, its going to be the best-selling anime where money didn't just disappear up sony's rear end or everyone gainax owed money. Hot Take: I think its OK to watch (to completion) seasonal anime that you thought you'd enjoy at the outset but have continued to disappoint; oh, and that any legitimate criticism you post online is valid and worthy. The smarmy attitude of "If you don't like it, don't tell us about it!" is as I said. There are other internet-bubble-communes out there where negative comments (including valid criticism) are purposefully buried, and the resulting atmosphere is happy to the point where the happiness no longer carries any meaning.

i agree, this is a well-reasoned case on why it's good that we can respond to others' criticisms of a show with valid and reasoned approaches to their opinion. it would be weird if we just left them in a safe bubble where we collect the contrary opinions and admire them like pieces in a museum. that's why we call them internet 'forums', after all.

also there's already a madoka movie to market towards
