Venom? yeah i have no idea what they were doing, nero's tracer is a relative weakness and even when he swapped to echo and genji he couldn't make it work. it seems like teams generally think tracer/soldier is the general best comp now due to not having the same weaknesses that genji or echo have been found to have, so idk why reign weren't prepared to try venom at least once. word is they were overconfident and have been goofing off in scrims the last week though idk why houston weren't any better prepared for the tracer/soldier counter to their comp either vancouver's coaching is clearly a disaster, their players should absolutely not be looking that bad (except maybe false who does really seem to be struggling on main tanks which is more understandable). they really should fire their coaches ASAP and pick up say, dpei.

Yeah, they knocked it out of the park. As much as Lemon is the superior pair for Legday, I wouldn't be opposed to have Jaws and Legday reunited for a few matches here and there, tbh

paris dropping naga after only a single week this season really can't be good for team morale lol. idk that wub is necessarily clearly better either, like when florida dropped mirror for xzi shortly before the season there's at least an understandable reason (the rest of florida ended up covering what they wanted mirror to & they had and opportunity to pick up an established star in xzi) but here it's hard to say that paris would have done any better in week 1 with wub instead of naga? & how are boston so bad too, is lori actually just a dreadful coach

all of the push maps today have been way closer than last week's but I think the game mode feels off because it's just 1 round when you're at least playing 2 for any of the others. that makes it fast but imo that's also what makes it feel anticlimactic
