Glad to see Mr Logix still playing, I was afraid they'd relegate him to Social Media with Beast for the season

I don't think Spark has much of a player issue. Even with the rest of the league leveling up, Spark's roster should be doing better than they are. A competent coach could take 7 of these players and make a fantastic team. I've never been a fan of their coaching staff and nothing i've seen has changed my mind.

At least Bebe seems to be doing well

Shock has 5 dps and still needs to field viol2t on mccree

When are we getting the Viol2t/Super dps line

Still wild to me that Shock has Twilight playing second fiddle flex support and that this is probably the correct choice. Watching him dumpster fools on Ana when they want Viol2t to play dps or if they need a second flex reminds me that he used to be the starter on the second best team in the league until they pissed it away

I cannot believe Fusion picked Gibraltar for escort. Gibraltar has always been such a good map for Shanghai and Fusion hasn't looked that good at it this season. If Fusion loses this, they have no one but themselves to blame.

I really dislike that the statement was made the moment Seoul was out of May Melee, two weeks after his statements and apology, and that they say his apology was insufficient but don't say what he needs to do to show contrition, to their eyes. It's obvious they want his resignation on a platter. The league will probably do nothing because the boycott only extends outside of official matches (so scrims, PR, etc) and Seoul has no use for a player who can't scrim with the team, so he'll probably be let go before sacrificing the whole brand.
they also mentioned boycotting matches

No but seriously I don't get why mirror comps are so common this season.
mirror comps are always common. Eventually everyone figures out the best comp and not opting into the mirror puts you at a heavy disadvantage. Hero pools throw a bit of a wrench into that, but i dont think hero pools are active right now?

I don't think tank players are going to lose their jobs. You're not gonna dump Choi and hope Smurf can play DVa. Whats actually going to happen is year one of overwarch 2, the tank players are going to be rotated more often. After that, likely, off tanks are going to start learning main tanks and vice versa. You'll still need 2 or more tanks to cover every hero you might play

It seems like the four comps in this hero pool are:

- Sigma/Orisa double shield
- Winston/D.va rush with Reaper
- Winston/D.va rush with Ashe/Echo
- Hog

This is... not encouraging. I was really hoping double bubble would still be viable.
London is playing double bubble

Mano and Hotba pretty much immediately improved after leaving nyxl so i wouldnt at all be surprised if whoru does too. The only problem is Fleta's existence, and Shanghai's difficulty integrating substitutions effectively

is there any reason to believe he has diabetes other than "he's chonky"

Hangzhou dumped pajion 4/26, immediately lost a close game against Shanghai on 4/30, and have dominated every match since, including sweeping the Dragons in a rematch. Granted, Shanghai's the only quality team they've played against in that time, but still an impressive turnaround
