Its a romhack thingy - Pokemon Infinite Fusion. Sideshow spent hours training up a machoke/sandslash to fight lt. Surge only to overlevel it. Bren gave him a massive lifeline - all he had to do was unfuse the pokemon and refuse them to lower level pokemon, which is against their arbitrary ruleset normally. So he goes back to Pallet town to catch literally anything to fuse them with and picks up a starmie and a cyndaquil. Now his pokemon are only level 20, he heads back to Vermillion City to grind, immediately goes to fight a guy who greets him with "I've never won before", loses his ground/psychic sandslash/starmie to an ominous wind, his machoke/cyndaquil gets poisoned by the next pokemon and faints before he gets to the pokemon center. So now he has exactly one pokemon to take on lt. Surge - a water/normal snorlax/wailord. This has been his carry pokemon, the only pokemon he hasn't been able to kill because its just too beefy - snorlax came with leftovers. Its at level cap and has been since before he started the stream. He accidentally triggers a fight with one of the gym trainers, immediately overlevelling it. He has to negotiate with Bren to allow him to actually continue. Somehow cons Bren into letting him continue if Bren gets to spin the badtime wheel. Immediately steamrolls the boss despite type disadvantage. The machoke, sandslash, cyndaquil and starmie died for no reason.
