I would like to raise the question of recognizing other root vegetables and tubers for chip consideration. These are real good:

What is the appeal of utz exactly? They are garbage chips on par with perhaps Lays. Good in a pinch. Or drunk. quote:Utz is a beloved brand. But in a blind taste test, the thin and crumbly chip really fell short compared with the others. “Is this even made from potatoes? Thin as they are, they coat the mouth, unpleasantly. There’s a nice taste to the oil, though,” one taster said. “No taste. Does this chip even exist? Or was it a figment of my imagination?” another said. With its “medium salt level” and “powdery texture,” tasters had “nothing to recommend.” “Gag! I want to give this zero.” “No amount of salt balance will fix it.” “This is a potato cracker, not a potato chip.”

The party of the "-os" has entered the chamber. The BBQ coating on Grippo's is divine. Munchos provide a powerful combination of great crunch, with a hint of puffy texture.

I know this is the potato chip thread and not the tortilla chip thread, but the tortilla chip thread has been dead for weeks and the OP has abandoned it. These are the best drat tortilla chips I ever had, and when I would study at my community college I would get them out of the bougie self service snack store for some exorbitant price. They were my only friends when I was studying there all alone during summer school Best Chip, Jalapeno Tortilla chip Smugworth fucked around with this message at 03:00 on Apr 16, 2021 |

I object to the notion of elevating a regional brand, while at the same time kowtowing to the chosen nomenclature certain foreign elements. We must stand united behind one national brand of chips or perish. The "all dressed" menace sits across our very border. Think wisely.

Salt and vinegar chips reign supreme obviously A big gently caress you to Lays who got bought by BIG DAIRY and put loving milk dust on their salt and vinegar chips in Canada making them not vegan, but the same salt and vinegar chips in the US don’t have the milk powder
