Mentopolis also has a stellar cast with Trapp, Siobhan, Alex Song-Xia, Danielle Radford, Freddie Wong, and Hank Green. It and Bloodkeep are my two favorites.
I'd put Bloodkeep up there one of their best. Never Stop Blowing Up was also good value.

But my favourite has to be A Court of Fey and Flowers which has largely informed my two PC's (a husband and wife Eladrin) in a game that's been going on two years now.

He's a Chaotic Entitled Prince Consort who did a runner and she's the Lawful Genocidal Queen of the Winter Court out to drag his rear end back to court.

It's been wild.

i love a court of fey and flowers and I'm very glad they took a swing at such an rp heavy campaign. everyone hit it out of the park

has one of my favorite pc concepts in it ever (don't click if you haven't seen it yet) in someone playing a warlock's patron. what a wild and rich idea, and I hope it's inspired people to pull the same trick in personal campaigns

Just caught up on that Gamechanger premiere and what a work of art. I totally understand all the people in the price hike comments saying theyre going to cancel and resub to give them more money. I’m not going to, but that was indeed worth all the dollars compared to literally any other service.

They list actors in tags on each show they are on. You'd think you'd be able to search by em.

Edit: Yeah, you can totally click on a tag in a show to search for other hits:

I haven't watched this one yet, because I've been saving it. I know nothing about the subject, but the last similar one was amazing. The non-standard niche episodes really show that the magic of the format is having at least one or two people on an episode that are hilariously excited to know a bunch of minutia about a thing. I would way rather watch a bunch of episodes about things like baseball, musical theatre, cocktails, pets, or whatever where people are engaged than watch episodes about 'nerd' things where people are just guessing and laughing at the dumb things in the questions.

You need at least one person aggressively "Um... Actually-ing" and the host playing along with the people doing it.

1,000% agree, and you're gonna LOVE this episode. I haven't watched a nanosecond of any of the shows they talked about and this episode was amazing.

Unrelated to that, the latest VIP was legit. Not as many laugh out loud moments as something chaotic like either of the Anna Garcia episodes, but the character choices and awkward tension were killer.

Absolutely, this was my big letdown with the U,A drag queen guest episode - I love those queens, Jujubee in particular, but they absolutely aren't standard nerds so all of the regular material fell flat.

But yeah, other than Drag Race I haven't seen any of the reality TV they cover and still had a blast.

My wife absolutely lost her poo poo like Izzy about what constitutes the "sashay" part of Drag Race. EVERYTHING AFTER RU SAYS "NOW, SASHAY AWAY" COUNTS

The best part of that is that Izzy probably literally cost Sam money because of that. I presume they had to shell out for the rights to show the clip

So I'm wrapping up fantasy high junior year today. Do I want to do unsleeping city or bloodkeep next?

I've seen all of fantasy high, ACOC, Starstruck, and Misfits and Magic one. Aiming to get all the characters for the time quangles done before knocking those out, if that makes a difference.

MikeJF
Dec 20, 2003

Bloodkeep is nice and quick and fun and unserious and a very easy watch if you want a break from the long ones. Unsleeping's great but a bigger task, but if that's what you feel like dive in. If you want to knock out quangle characters then you'll need to do unsleeping, it's one of the source campaigns.
