I think basically every Smartypants presentation for this season has been a home run so far.

It was fun seeing how wildly different the approach of each of the three was to the prompts. Giving them an entire year to flesh each one out led to some great surprises that you can’t get when you’re limited to just the one day of shooting. If they put the I’ve Been Here the Whole Timepiece up in the merch store I’ll buy one yesterday. What an inspired bit. TelevisedInsanity posted:I'm still of the theory, Sam leaving the trailer through an exit sign with his own face tells me. I am still not onboard with the idea that Sam is leaving Game Changer but the ending of this episode with him on the couch does seem like it’s setting something up, probably for the finale. They made sure to get a shot of that new sign up on the door, too…

Gaz-L posted:The best part of that is that Izzy probably literally cost Sam money because of that. I presume they had to shell out for the rights to show the clip I would expect something like that to count as fair use commentary but copyright law might as well be a runic language

I didn’t notice it until the BTS but all of the patches on Lou’s vest referenced his answers to the prompts Also I enjoyed the “my ‘I’m not a werewolf voicemail is raising a lot of questions answered by my voicemail’” portion of Vic’s musical

If we’re studying brains we should also probably check Jess’ so we can determine why Hootie and the Blowfish was the first, and apparently only band, that came to mind for her

Having the Joker audition come in the middle of the episode was an absolutely inspired decision

Considering who Sam’s dad is it all makes sense but it’s still wild to see a media company doing all of this
