Yeah, I told her it was an evangelical conspiracy theory and nonsense but her "huh" in response doesn't make me think she's going to challenge her views. Being Jewish and white in this country has been a weird experience. Christians will ask and tell you the weirdest poo poo in ways that make it clear they don't see you as human.
