in other news has anyone heard of dimetrodon? it's an ancient synapsid - a proto-mammal rather than just being some sort of lizard - that they reckon had a big dorsal fan for sexual display

yeah the red one's pretty cool. i like how his sail isn't drawn to indicate heat control; they've found big dimetrodons with small sails and small dimetrodons with big sails, which knocks some holes in the thermoregulation theory and strongly supports the Sail Indicates DTF theory
