serve it raw, sir, instead

cooking is great, i spend too much time in front of screens and getting into the kitchen is my escape from that. this is what I made on the weekend and just made for lunch:

https://www.saveur.com/article/recipes/white-bean-and-lacinato-kale-soup-with-smoked-ham-hock/

great combination of creamy from the beans, salty from the pork and texture from the kale. I'd take a picture but I ate it all.

i’m man enough to admit i’m not man enough to get my cast iron good enough to cook eggs in

nonstick pan for eggs is still the best way. just don’t do like my mum or gf and get it so hot it smokes even tho it’s dry

you freaks if you are frying you just use a normal pan with butter or oil in a thin layer

don't use teflon or cast iron, both are dumb and annoying

i know the internet thinks cast iron is so great for some reason but its really not as good as just a good quality stainless steel pan (i have high-sided cuisinart pans and they are good)

they are annoying to clean and all the 'seasoning' poo poo is not worth the effort. and yes I am dumb and annoying but that doesn't detract from my point

dish soap, water, a sponge with a scrubber pad on it, steel wool if really needed. pat it dry then throw it on the burner and heat it up to evaporate any remaining moisture. if im feeling frisky ill wipe on a thin layer of oil with a paper towel as it heats up

i do all of the above for my carbon steel wok too
