Anybody managed breakthrough on the not hourglass, kaleidoscope, or orbital yet? No matter how many times I requeue I keep getting these maps, wondering if the other maps even have breakthrough on them.

I've had some very fun matches on Breakaway. Running across the ice to cover or running along the bridge to try and get to the oil rig is intense. Or just drive a tank across the bridge.

Boris is great for defending. The turret is another thing to shoot at and it spots enemies.

Casper is great for recon drone shenanigans or simply spotting for your team. You can also really annoy enemy tanks with the EMP shot.

I think it's between lower value between cpu and gpu. Not sure what the sim is calculating. Last one is megapixels per sec. I could never find an answer in a quick google search though.

Has anyone put in some work with the lever action rifle? Not sure what niche this is supposed to fill since it seems to be worse than the SVK in every single way. It shoots way slower, has a longer reload and becomes a 3hit kill at long ranges. The slow rate of fire is absolutely brutal.

The only thing it has over the SVK is that it has no bloom or deviation while you are moving either with ADS or hipfiring. The bullet will go where your crosshair is. But that isn't nearly enough to make up for everything else unless you are some sort of headshot god, and even then the SVK is accurate enough at close range that I have hipfired my way to victory against people who jumped me.

I wasn't sure exactly how Dice planned to balance this gun against dmrs and slug shotguns. I don't have slugs on the shotgun unlocked, but I assume that is worse than the SVK or lever action. But at least with a shotgun you can change ammo type on the fly so you aren't completely hosed at close quarters.

Congrats Battlefield 2042 you officially run worse on my machine than Cyberpunk did at launch.

Apparently Origin has an fps counter(application setting -> origin ingame) too and the result is something between the cpu and gpu counter.


It was consistently at 198/199 at the menu screen while the cpu fps would fluctuate a bit so who even knows.

Or you can Geforce Experience and see what that shows.

Besides looking cool, no. It's basically SVK > dmrs / sniper rifles >> lever action > shotgun with slugs.

Compared directly against the SVK, the lever action has worse rof, damage and reload speed. And the SVK is accurate enough with hipfire that you can do better with it than the lever action at close range.
Not quite sure how I would even buff the lever action to give it a niche. Maybe give it enough damage to 1hit KO with a chest shot out to like 10m. Might be OP, but considering how slow the ROF is if you miss at close range you are dead anyways. Or let it shoot frag rounds / exploding bullets because if you are gonna suck, may as well be cool while doing it. :v:

You can't really solo tanks anymore unless you use c5. Get a squadmate to help you. Or somehow get 3 rear shots on them.

The LCMG drops down to 18 damage at 50m and beyond, so it takes 6 bullets to kill at that range and beyond.

A hovercraft with the grenade launcher main weapon equipped can basically defend all the elevator points by itself. The splash damage clears out the whole thing easily and effectively. It's hilarious.

I say this as both a person who loves to use the hovercraft and hates dealing with them when I am not in one myself.

The Bolte is in the transport slot.
