I think I mostly enjoyed Battlefield V because I find Conquest a boring gamemode and BFV did alternative gamemodes (such as Breakthrough, Frontlines and Grand Operations) the best, as they took full advantage of the fortification system among other things.

You can tell that the whole fortification system was basically created for Outpost mode, but EA let that die with only a couple maps supported. If EA had the balls to pull a Bad Company and make BF1 based around Breakthrough and BFV based around Outpost they might have done better.

Oh that's neat. Don't think I ever played that mode as the non-Conquest servers kinda died off in the OCE region and my interest in the game along with it. :v:
