You probably saw/heard me; gal in the front row opposite the entrance with blue/green hair. I love a show where legit every match was a “I’ll be tickled with the result either way”. A buddy I was with hadn’t been to a show since ‘18 but was a Reseda regular and wasn’t familiar with a few wrestlers but now he (correctly) is in love with Takeshita. Take’s American excursion is going to be AMAZING and it’ll be rad to see what he does and where he goes!

Going with a bunch of friends to the Wrestlepro May 7th show in Rahway, NJ. My buddy's wife is a huge fan of Bear Country, so we'll be there early for the signings. The card looks like some solid fun. I'd love to say hi to any goons there; it's also going to be up on FITE. The card announced so far is Killer Kross vs LSG Matt Macintosh, Bobby Wayward, Deon Russman, Cheeseburger in a fatal four-way for the championship Joey Janella vs Chris Dickinson Scotty 2 Hotty vs Colt Cabana Melina vs Scarlett Bordeaux

A few weeks back my local indie had a really cool match with an awesome atmosphere and I just wanted to share it here. I just want to give this match some context first: Journey Pro Wrestling (my local indie) has been planning to crown a JP champion since they came back from the pandemic hiatus (so this has been a long time coming). In the run up to the tournament they had a match called the "Ticket to Ride" match which was essentially a gauntlet match, if you got A PINFALL or SUBMISSION you got a ticket to enter the title tournament. Jeremy Wyatt (who at the time was the Gateway Heritage Champion) which is a belt that is apparently defended amongst different promotions ) pretty much was gifted an entry into the tournament. So fast forward several months: Jeremy Wyatt has a first round bye and only had to wrestle 2 matches to get to the finals. Christian Rose (who went from the biggest heel of the company to the biggest babyface) had to wrestle 3 matches in 2 nights and did not have as easy a path to the finals. So here we are, we are at Journey Pros new location where they are going to have shows, we have been watching wrestling for 2 straight nights, it's the culmination of almost 7 hours of show. The crowd is loving PUMPED up because every match has been total banger (and we also just got done watching Gary Jay vs. Effy). During this show though a HUGE loving storm was happening outside, you could hear the thunder indoors, it was loving nuts.
