Just finished the final episode. I thought this was a great season, would have been an all time season if it wasn’t for the evacs and whatever Ben did to get the boot. I am so incredibly exited for Vs. The World. The cast is absolutely stacked. I wish we had tribes of 8 as 7 feels a little small by Aus standards but my god, that cast. Seeing Sarah back from season 2 is an absolute trip.

It's on Noovo's website, not geoblocked, but it's in French only, no English subs. I'm not aware of any official or unofficial subs for it.

Thinking about it, if they were to expand to tribes of 8 I’d go for Matt (who was originally rumoured to be on this season, Doug, or Chris from UK for the world tribe and Benji, Raymond, or Khanh for the Aussie tribe to break up the Luke / David / Janine / Sarah group.

Oh Lord, spare me from ever having to see Benji on my screen again. One of those UK guys would have been a good add though. It might even stir up enough attention to get a second UK series.

I’d be up for that. The UK season had a great post merge. Joel was not a good host though and some of the music choices were absolutely baffling.

Joel started to get it together toward the end (though I wouldn't be sorry to see a replacement), but he took a while to realize this wasn't just Love Island or something, and the music never really figured that out.

Kaelan had never seen Survivor before he says in his exit interview, he did research by watching clips and bits of stuff before going out but he also mentions he didn't get to see as much as he wanted because he was writing a paper. He thought he could beat both AJ and Myles at FTC because he figured he took two out of three planks of the game in the physical and social and only lost on one in strategic. He knew AJ would be tougher to beat so, despite thinking he had it either way, he took out his better friend there to try to ensure the win. Honestly makes sense. He says he'd play again. Joel as UK host was doing his own thing with it which was weird for such an established franchise, but it taught me whatever, I literally don't care what the host does because to me he was fine. Matty or Christopher from Survivor UK absolutely should've been Aus vs World. Those two made that season. Tinuke was good too. man I wish there were subtitles for Survivor Quebec, feel like it would be the perfect way for me to expose myself to more french. where are you bumdidlyump

other good stuff from the exits: -Zara seems to admit if she won final immunity she would've voted out Kaelan -AJ explains how the hostage plan actually made sense. He'd been told (by Kristin?) that PD would probably flip to the brains which would mean even if that tribe lost, the brains there would be safe. Meanwhile, AJ had asked the brawns to please save Max and Laura, and had Noonan/Paulie ask the brawns to please vote out Max and Laura. The idea here is that if they're wrong about PD, this will make Max/Laura the likely targets which AJ is okay with. And AJ also told Zara about the plan on the challenge sidelines so that she and Myles would be okay with it, and promised her that if the plan didn't work and Max or Laura did go home instead of a brawn, that he'd throw the remaining challenges to keep them safe. So when PD didn't flip, maybe because Max defected so hard, and a brain did go home, AJ then switched from trying to make the other tribe throw to throwing himself. I can't believe he actually managed to explain that in a way that all his seemingly contradicting actions kind of hold up but there it is. -As an aside, apparently PD was a big fan of the show and was pretty widely respected by a lot of the cast.
