Number One I order you to take a number two.

 Admittedly I never played the first game, but the second is the open world game of the late 2000s. By that time it found its own voice and didn't really need to be a GTA "clone" anymore. They got wild, weird, and were better for it. That said there were a lot of references in 2, 3, and especially 4 that call back to the first one.

Whatever happened to Volition's announcement that they found the Saints Row 2 source code and had assigned resources to actually update it to run on modern hardware better?
