Given his best time is 2:01:39, a 2:08:xx would just be a workout for Kipchoge. He basically jogged the first 30km and then put in a bit more effort for the last 12.2km.

Kipchoge (I think that's how you spell it) came in with a huge lead, but the the Dutch and Belgian runners passed another Kenyan who at that point was poised to come in second. There was a third Kenyan, but I believe he had to drop out.
