I have three different brands of msg in my closet because they all have slightly different tastes an Indonesian brand, a Japanese brand, and a Chinese brand I personally am a huge fan of the Indonesian brand but I’ve been making a lot of Indonesian fried rice

Your stomach is full of HCl which is in water so it's actually a soup of H+ , Cl- and OH- in equilibrium plus other things you eat. Salt turns into Na+ and Cl- when you eat it
