cjs: today we discovered that someone not on our team was able to make a new repo in our project, commit directly to master, and deploy without the release pipeline I did not enjoy tracking down the collection of permissions errors that allowed that to happen

Making chili is a good idea. I need to dial in this recipe some more: 1 cup celery, chopped ½ yellow onion, chopped 2 lb. tomatoes, quartered 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 Tbsp. chili powder 1 Tbsp. paprika 1 tsp. cumin dash to 1 tsp. cayenne 3 cans (16 oz. each) of various beans, drained Sweat the celery and onions in some oil, maybe toss some garlic in there too (this is the dialing in I need to do), add everything else, cover and simmer until the tomatoes break down, about half an hour or so. Leave the Worcestershire sauce out and it's vegan, I think. Cut up some bacon and fry that up as the first step and get more savory flavor in there.

I’ve made the LBJ family recipe before and it was a big hit http://thebordercook.com/president-johnsons-family-chili-recipe/ Used cubed beef instead of ground and topped with sour cream Used beef lard when browning the meat & onions & garlic as well. It was an incredibly beefy chili

my chili turned out like 1.5lbs ground pork 2 big ol yella onions 1 bulb garlic 3 cans diced tomaters 1 can kidney beans some tomato paste 1/4 cup fresh parsley some celery leaves chili powder, cumin, paprika, oregano teaspoon of baking chocolate lil pinch of sugar dash o balsamic vinegar came out ok

in the short time between wfh 1 and wfh 2 me and a coworker orginized a taco bar with meats from one of the local taquieras. we had a bunch of meat left over so my cowoker tossed it all in a chili the next day was good as hell

cjs: working on a saturday doing some stupid cisco ucs/hyperflex + vmware upgrade. predictably it failed so now in a webex with cisco tac. good thing i'm being paid over time for this!!!
