Here is a neat trick I'm using: find a WoW player who has a BlizzBux balance from buying WoW tokens on the auction house and have them buy you the game and paypal them cash. Blizzard already has that money, there is no way to get it out, but you didn't give them anymore this way. Or do whatever, there is no ethical consumption under capitalism.

Boba, like, I get what you're saying, but like every major publisher has terrible poo poo somewhere, if you're playing games from any of them you're supporting bullshit. Square-Enix employs a tremendously racist rear end in a top hat composer that works on DQ and denies war crimes, Atlus employs a guy that doesn't believe guys and girls can be friends and shoehorns gay panic poo poo into his games, Microsoft gave noted shithead Notch a billion dollars. It's literally all poo poo, this one is just more recent and at the front of mind, so let's all try to be cool in our glass houses. edit: oh, while I was typing this it became a different thing.

I would argue that enriching and platforming people with opinions fueled by hate is maybe more damaging to the world at large, but you're right, what happened with that woman is absolutely outrageous and everyone involved or who helped cover it up should be in jail.

Also, I am extremely sorry about your eyes and what is happening to you. As an unemployed extremely poor person, I have no access to healthcare, and I have severe psoriasis that covers my entire body. Waking up in pain is no stranger to me and having no escape from it exhausts the soul in a way people who haven't been through it can't understand.
