Welp, Dipoto sank the season with that Graveman trade. 20 years, guess we'll wait another.

We were waiting at least another year anyway.

Whoever would have come out of the AL West in 1994 would have been the biggest dog poo poo run differential team to ever make the playoffs. What a shame.

yeah there is a weirdness though where the PA contract start in like 23, but the league contract starts in like 26 or w/e. So... what happens in that 3 year gap? We get cards like Panini with no logos or team names? Will Topps even be able to print cards in those 3 years, because you can scrub logos, but if you have no players you have no cards.

Hell yeah - bring back the hilariously bad 1970's era airbrushing.

Wow, look at this dumb post. What an absolute idiot.

Welcome to every waking moment of an M's fan's life. Just Lucy and the football over and over and over. At least you have that nice shiny run differential.

Edit: Oh the M's are 7-1 over their last 8. With a three game series against Houston coming up? Gonna kick that football so far this time.

The M's are gonna max out the heart break down the stretch by sweeping those games with the Royals and D-Backs for sure.

What a shocking development. The football has been moved in a trick like manner!

For Lucy's next trick, she'll be clubbing the M's fan Charlie Brown to death with a bat while laughing maniacally.

Somehow only 5-8 against Houston despite a -25 run differential. 7-4 against Oakland with a -9.

Andy Van Slyke had some OG blernsball ideas on how to keep things interesting.

Chaos M's are 10-3 in their last 13 games with a -4 run differential. Embrace the stupidity.

it's the difference between runs scored and runs allowed

And it's a quick and easy means of ballparking what a team's record *should* be. The good ol' triangle Pythagorean theorem, but for baseball.

Not surprisingly, the better your run differential the better your record should be. The Mariners are for what seems to be the 4th or 5th time in recent years, outperforming their expected record by a stupid amount. On the flip side of the coin, the Blue Jays are not.
