Two bloody great handfuls
Pillbug
VICE published an article (https://www.vice.com/en/article/5dbv83/leaked-apple-training-videos-show-how-it-undermines-third-party-repair) about leaked Apple authorized technician training videos that demonstrates a series of "techniques" that they should use to make the customer buy relatively expensive genuine Apple replacement parts. The first video on the article addresses the reaction of the customer for a more expensive iPhone screen replacement.

Solution? Just "prove" the cheaper 3rd party replacement screen doesn't work.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C8PRWOcU69k

Tap the screen until the 3rd party one somehow can't keep up, and that proves the necessity of spending 300$ extra on it, case closed. If that doesn't work, you gotta prove that the 3rd party screen can't detect the correct input, somehow.

What I found interesting was that they only use still images for the training videos. That surely causes some important details being left out.

As you can see here the 3rd party iPhone screens really suck.

Don't spend your hard earned cash on these cheap knock off screens. They are fundamentally faulty.
